Leading Through Crisis - Part 5

Let me remind you of what we have discussed so far in this study on leading in crisis.

I.  Check your attitude – so that it too does not end up out of control

II.      Reinforce your spiritual disciples.

III.    Don’t forget you are setting an example.

IV.    In Crisis – prayer is where you gain your edge.

V.    Be selective who you are listening to.

VI.    Develop and carry out a strategy according to Godly Principles.

Let me draw my final thoughts on this topic of leading in crisis from 2 Chronicles 20

VII.  Make certain you have the right people in leadership positions

21 After consulting the people, Jehoshaphat appointed men to sing to the Lord and to praise him for the splendor of his holiness as they went out at the head of the army, saying: "Give thanks to the Lord , for his love endures forever."

22 As they began to sing and praise, the Lord set ambushes against the men of Ammon and Moab and Mount Seir who were invading Judah, and they were defeated.

VIII. Don’t forget to be thankful.

Crisis and thanksgiving are a theme in scripture.
